Severe Pain
If your pain is so severe that you cannot stand up straight, head on over to the emergency room. Another sign of something possibly serious is if your stomach is sensitive to touch or if it comes on suddenly or with a fever.
Vomiting
If you find yourself in the unlucky position of vomiting and you notice blood in your vomit, you should also seek out medical care.
